and to expand on that, look at the market tab and make sure you have it set to show you all results in the region, you can then right click, set destination on a result. But if you ever not sure where to buy something jita is the biggest trade hub...

sounds to me like the OP paid up and then got jumped by some other pirates. Its not that unsual to get jumped on a gate in low sec by pirates. You can't expect the randsom to mean he follows you and makes sure you don't get urself jumped on the wa...

Well I did that mission in the end, no problems what so ever. I took my time and salvaged as I went and netted about 40M. My tank held up fine and the dps was enough, as long as I got in close for antimatter ammo on the larger targets. Very happy...
